The 2023 Ford Mustang has returned to deliver trademark design and high-octane performance. If you could use a daily hit of dopamine, this is the sports coupe for you. Before you test-drive the latest Mustang, check out our buying guide, where we answer your frequently asked questions.
Why choose the 2023 Ford Mustang?
The Mustang not only delivers speed and style, but it also comes at a great price. Although Ford hasn’t announced the MSRP for this upcoming mode, we expect it to start around $29,000. Ford’s famous pony car also offers a wide range of luxury features and performance upgrades, which means you can tailor your ride to suit your personal need for speed and style.
Which 2023 Ford Mustang trim models come with the V8 engine?
All but the EcoBoost Mustangs come with the 5.0-liter V8 engine. This means that when you choose the GT, GT Premium, or Mach 1 models, you’ll have plenty of power at your command. No matter which Mustang you select, you can choose between a sporty six-speed manual transmission and a 10-speed automatic.
The 2023 Ford Mustang powertrain specs are the same as last year:
- EcoBoost: 2.3-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine (310 horsepower, 350 lb-ft of torque)
- GT and Mach 1: 5.0L V8 engine (450 hp, 410 lb-ft)
- Standard six-speed manual transmission
- Optional 10-speed automatic transmission
How’s the 2023 Ford Mustang interior?
For a performance-based sports coupe, the Mustang treats you to a very comfortable ride indeed. The front seats are roomy and comfortable, presenting the perfect road-trip scenario. And, although you can hear the purring of your V8 engine, the cabin does a good job of tuning out unwanted wind and road noise. Thanks to the Mustang’s independent rear suspension, you can expect a surprisingly smooth ride, too.
When it comes to comfort features, the EcoBoost and GT models are similarly equipped, while the EcoBoost Premium and GT Premium add to their standard features with more luxury items. The standard lineup includes keyless entry and ignition, a Wi-Fi hotspot, and the Co-Pilot360 suite of safety aids. Premium and Mach 1 models also include dual-zone automatic climate control, front-seat leather upholstery, and SYNC 3 infotainment with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
