Yes, as long as that camper or boat weighs less than the Escape’s max tow rate of 3,500 pounds. To tow max loads, the 2022 Ford Escape requires the Class II Trailer Tow Package and the turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine (250 horsepower, 280 pound-feet of torque).

With the base engine and the towing package, the Escape can tow max loads of 2,000 pounds. Hybrid-powered Escapes have tow ratings of up to 1,500 pounds.
