For 2026, the Maverick gets a colorful glow-up with Orange Fury and Marsh Gray paint options, though the automaker ditched Desert Sand and Eruption Green. If you're looking at the XL or XLT, the front-wheel-drive hybrid remains the base setup, but you can switch to the turbo-four with FWD for the same price, or pay a bit more to get AWD on that turbo engine.
There are some equipment shifts to keep in mind, too. Ford discontinued wireless charging across the board. Most trims now come standard with an inflator kit, making the full-size spare an add-on for the XL, XLT, Lobo, and Lariat. Only the off-road Tremor keeps the spare as standard gear.
Inside, the XLT swaps its built-in armrest console for attachable cupholders, and the Luxury package moves to a four-way manual passenger seat. You'll also notice Blue Ford badges are back to being the only factory choice. On the tech side, connectivity now includes a free year with a new seven-year purchase option.
The 2026 Ranger is having a much quieter year. Avalanche is the new paint color on the menu, replacing Azure Gray. It also streamlined the option packages to make the buying process simpler, and you'll find the power moonroof available on more builds starting this spring.
If you're eyeing an XLT Ranger, the manual sliding rear window has been replaced by a fixed window with a defroster. Tech-wise, SiriusXM with 360L is now standard on the XLT with a three-year subscription included. For those who want a meaner look right off the lot, there's a new Black Appearance Graphics package available.
