2023 Ford F-150 vs 2022 Ford F-150

The main difference between the 2022 and the 2023 F-150s is the addition of the Rattler trim. The Rattler trim provides an entry level Offroading trim for those who do not need or want all the baubles of the Raptor, or the higher price of the Tremor. The Rattler trim provides a plethora of options such as 18 inch wheels, a dual exhaust system, hill descent control, a locking rear control, and on off-road suspension. While the Tremor and Raptor trims offer more prestigious creature comforts and better options, the Rattler comes in at the much more competitive price of around $46,000. The Tremor starts at $63,000, and the Raptor at $78,000. Further, not only is there the fantastic addition of a variety of affordable off-road variations, but the cool addition of some Rattler logos. Normally cosmetic changes are not that important as they do not add much, but the Rattler logo is one that we have been looking forward to as it is a fun addition and new to the Ford lineup.

The 2023 Ford F-150 is slightly better than the 2022 model year, this is due to the addition of the Rattler trim and the other small improvements that come by year after year. However, although the 2023 might be the better truck, the 2022 model year will be offered at a slightly lower price as the 2023 model takes center stage. The 2022 model year does not differ much from the 2023, as the looks and the interior are much the same. Not only that but the engines offered are also the same across the board. The

Ford does their best to improve their vehicles year after year, and this year is no different. The Ford F-150 continually becomes a better truck, as Ford listens to consumers and continually provides what they want. The 2023 model year is no different with the addition of the Rattler trim. On top of that the 2023 model offers the most modern creature comforts and capability Ford has to offer. The 2022 trim however, is largely the same as the current year. The benefit here is that as the 2022 is the outgoing model year, prices may be a little bit more competitive for this model year when compared with the 2023 Ford F-150. The main thing comes down to which truck do you need, and if you want the Rattler trim, it is only available on the 2023 model.
